2月1日 DREAMS CAN COME TRUELately, since 2008 began, I've been feeling better. Happier, somehow motivated and hopeful. I wish I could just bottle the way I see life at this very moment, that I could somehow record it... I finally feel like I know myself, I no longer feel guilty or stupid or unsure...
I actually believe my childhood dream could actually become my reality. I have no clue how I'll make it happen for myself or how to go about it... But... I'm a writer. I've always been one, I've just never done anything about it. I've always talked about it, every year since I was 13 one of my resolutions was: This year is the year of MAKING IT HAPPEN.
It never did, partly because I never actually finished a story I started, partly because I didn't think I was actually good enough, partly because I allowed everyone to intimidate me...
I might not make it. But I will die trying and actually establish some kind of disciplin.
My choices are half chance. So are everyone else's.
Being fairly new to the world of blogging, I have decided to use "MySpace" to scribble short stories which anyone---if anyone happens to actually stumble upon my profile---should feel free to comment upon... Like my favorite quote mentions: The journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step.
